Process

Applying to the University of Massachusetts Amherst is straightforward. If you are applying to the Master of Healthcare Administration or the Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice, you will begin by submitting the SOPHAS application and then follow the UMass Amherst application steps.

If you have finished the SOPHAS process or are applying to the Master of Public Policy, you can complete your application in the UMass Amherst online application portal and submit your transcripts, personal statement, and résumé.

Most programs do not require GRE scores, and applications are reviewed holistically. Once you have applied, you can track your status online.
